The best, most hearty and delicious American dinner that everyone can love. I was able to convince my wife to let me make this for dinner last week and we were both on the floor with how good this was. Here is how to make it :
This recipe serves 2 hungry people

Ingredients :
300g quality ground beef
Half a yellow onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon of butter
3 teaspoons garlic powder
3 tablespoons tomato paste
250g dry pasta of choice
2 cups homemade chicken broth
Salt & pepper to taste
Gruyere or gooey cheese of choice to top
Instructions :
- Melt your butter in a medium-sized pot
- Toss in your chopped onion and cook until halfway to translucent
- Add in your ground beef and cook until brown
- Mix in your garlic powder and tomato paste until combined
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Add dry pasta
- Cover pasta with chicken broth and cover pot with lid
- Set timer according to pasta cook time
- Check on pasta and stir every couple minutes, making sure there is enough liquid to cook
- Once pasta is fully cooked, remove from heat and let the dish rest for a couple minutes with lid on
- Serve generously with your choice of cheese on top
Now, don’t tell my wife but I do add in an extra cheeky tablespoon of butter in the pot when I get the pasta rolling, I like the extra ‘hearty’ side to the dish and I feel it does make a difference.
This is the kind of meal to enjoy in front of a series, under a comfy blanket on a cold or rainy evening. This is the dish to eat when you’re feeling lazy, stressed or tired. It’s easy, it’s tasty, and it honestly just makes you feel good.
